Howdee one and all.

Firstly, sorry for being AWOL from the blog for so long. There has been so much going on with my other sites, the Semi-Retired Foamer Youtube channel, and that real life that exists outside the interwebs.

However, as is usual for the festive season, I have been fossicking through old files, sorting them out and cataloguing. At the moment, it is aviation photos from near on five years ago.

LOCKDOWN LANDINGS

 

Firstly, I must point out that I am no aviation expert, even 'aviation amateur' would be a little too glorious.

 I have taken plane photos, on occasion, over the years. However, my main interests have always been railway orientated.

So I apologise in advance for not using using proper aviation industry terms, many of which baffle me as much as railway ones confuse others :-)

A few years ago I moved near Sydney Airport, a move that has afforded me the ability to not even need to leave home to get photos. Something I have never been able to do with the railway hobby.

Anyway, enough of the rambling bollocks.

The last couple of weeks, works on the main runway, coupled with more frequent east/west landings, have treated me to more photographic opportunities than  would normally be the case from Brad's Mound, at least on a regular basis.

Hope they are of some moderate, if any at all, enjoyment.
