For over four decades I have been a rail and bus photographer.
However, during this time I have aimed the lens at other subjects, be they different transportation, scenery, buildings and other bollocks.
Given these do not really fit the scope of my other sites, I felt compelled to set up a new site so as to inflict my other photographic garbage upon the world.
While primarily Philippine and Australian content, there will be the occasional forays into Fiji and Hong Kong. Perhaps other locations should the current pandemic ever allow it.
So sit back and enjoy, or hate, even be indifferent. That choice is purely up to you.

LITEX MARKET QC - 08-02-2010

This blog entry is just a shortish one.

To be honest, I have been quick slack of late and have just been scrounging around the latest cataloged files for something relevant. At the moment I am slowly progressing through thousands of images from 2010.

Litex is a location along Commonwealth (Quezon City), around the busy intersection with Batasan Road.

Apart from the popular markets located there, it is a busy transport hub, with people transferring between buses, jeepneys, and the swarms of local trikes serving areas around locales like Payatas.

What photographer couldn't greatly enjoy photographing around Manila markets?
So much going on, so much colour.

There are very few product types that you won't find somewhere in Litex Markets.
Really good bargains can be had.

Litex Markets is one of those locations that you are often issued warnings about.
However, I have yet to experience an issue.
Touch wood.

Jeepneys.
Always a great photographic subject inside and out.

Normally all our visits to Litex are part of a run to or from Payatas, meaning a tricycle ride down Batasan Road and Ilang Ilang.
