For over four decades I have been a rail and bus photographer.
However, during this time I have aimed the lens at other subjects, be they different transportation, scenery, buildings and other bollocks.
Given these do not really fit the scope of my other sites, I felt compelled to set up a new site so as to inflict my other photographic garbage upon the world.
While primarily Philippine and Australian content, there will be the occasional forays into Fiji and Hong Kong. Perhaps other locations should the current pandemic ever allow it.
So sit back and enjoy, or hate, even be indifferent. That choice is purely up to you.

Finally went for a bit of a squiz at the new shopping centre in Eastlakes the other day.

Thus far, only the new Aldi and Woolworths have opened.

Despite popular belief, the old Eastlake Shopping Centre looks set to remain for up to two years, with the original Woolworths store to remain for at least a year and a half.

How fancy, the carpark has a few electric vehicle charging stations.

Coming up from the carpark you instantly greeted with some fancy design.

The thing that surprised me was the incredibly small size of the Woolworths. I have only seen a couple of their 'Metro' stores, but they have been bigger than this.
For the next year and a half, maybe more, locals will have the choice of the full sized one, and this.
Beyond that, this store will be only one, and is aimed at being more a local convenience outlet.

However, I got talking to the manager who pointed out the sign below.
In an effort to have everything the locals want, you can use this QR code to send in what you need stocked. He gets each request and says he will be sure to start stocking it.

A look in the new, and apparently largest (in southern hemisphere) Aldi store.
