I know, I know, I've been a bit hopeless with posts here of late. I've actually been spending most of my time cataloguing some 5000 shots from Philippine trips from 2007 till 2010.
Despite this, I've been attempting to keep up with the push to remove the iconic Jeepney from the streets of the Philippines. There are, of course, those who welcome this move, but then there are those like me that will greatly miss the heart and soul of Manila (and elsewhere).
DDS-313 (Built 1984) - This oldie was found down Sto Nino Street in Brgy Payatas A in Quezon City.

Having long felt this day would come, I have always endeavoured to capture as many of this on photo/video as I possibly could during my stays there.
DFF-293 (Built 1987) - At the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City.
I am told that jeepneys used in the UP Campus have a colour coding system, the colours appearing on the roof. In this case the colour code is green.

PYS-734 'Crew Saver' - Roaming around Sta Cruz in 2007.
This was a particularly interesting jeepney for me, bringing together my interests in the jeepney, as well as the Titanic.

PYW-270 'Bing Bong' - Roaming around Ermita in a rather attractive green and yellow livery.

PYZ-744 'Tony Lyn' - Was another particularly stunning looking jeepney. Some of the artwork is truly spectacular, and I feel it will be greatly missed if replaced by those ghastly things that seem to be 'incorrectly' referred too as a jeepney. They are nothing like 'The King'.

Hope you enjoyed this latest look at the amazing Filipino jeepney.
There is no doubt that we will return the subject in the future.
Earlier post: Colourful Kings.
