During August and September last year, repairs to Sydney's main runway meant those of us in Mascot were treated to a lot of interesting aviation sights that we would not regularly be used to seeing.
Foremost amongst these would be the use of the 3rd runway for the landing of freighter Jumbos.
The following is a selection of Jumbos during this period. Other planes will be covered in a future post.
As always, I am quite new to the aviation thing, so don't expect anything technical, or even official terms :-)
