For over four decades I have been a rail and bus photographer.
However, during this time I have aimed the lens at other subjects, be they different transportation, scenery, buildings and other bollocks.
Given these do not really fit the scope of my other sites, I felt compelled to set up a new site so as to inflict my other photographic garbage upon the world.
While primarily Philippine and Australian content, there will be the occasional forays into Fiji and Hong Kong. Perhaps other locations should the current pandemic ever allow it.
So sit back and enjoy, or hate, even be indifferent. That choice is purely up to you.

* PHILIPPINE BUS ALBUM 1999-2023 - PART 3

Philippine Bus Album 1999 Till Today.

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated with buses and trains, a passion that naturally extended to the Philippines during my first visit in 1999. Since then, I’ve returned 14 times, capturing countless photographs of the diverse transportation landscape.

Given the sheer volume of images, I often find it overwhelming to share them all on social media. I've launched an occasional series here on my travel blog to keep the enthusiasm alive (and maybe entertain a few others along the way).

Over the past decade, the bus hobby in the Philippines has flourished, reflecting the vibrant variety of bus operators and models that traverse the islands.

 It's a captivating journey worth documenting!

At the time of getting this shot, I had quite a craze for these old MALTC Nissan clunkers that were still plying the streets of Manila.
Their time was nearing an end, with their replacement by more modern vehicles fast approaching.

PHILIPPINE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL - SYDNEY - 16-11-2024

The Philippine Christmas Festival (Pasko Festival) at Darling Harbour, Sydney, took place last weekend, November 16-17, 2024, at Tumbalong Park. It celebrated Filipino culture and Christmas traditions, featuring vibrant performances, a diverse array of Filipino food, and cultural exhibits. This event, free to the public, marked its fourth year of bringing festive cheer to Sydney.

Highlights included a performance by Filipino superstar Coco Martin (on Sunday) and cast members of FPJ's Batang Quiapo, as part of the TFC Happy Hour segment. Attendees also enjoyed live music, dance showcases, and community festivities that captured the spirit of a traditional Filipino Christmas.

 However, we went on the Saturday and managed to avoid the Coco appearance. Purely by luck rather than planning.

The night was setting in, as was a rather bad flu, so I headed off to the Haymarket Light Rail stop.
My leaving the noise for some quiet time here was not a popular choice with the females.
