For over four decades I have been a rail and bus photographer.
However, during this time I have aimed the lens at other subjects, be they different transportation, scenery, buildings and other bollocks.
Given these do not really fit the scope of my other sites, I felt compelled to set up a new site so as to inflict my other photographic garbage upon the world.
While primarily Philippine and Australian content, there will be the occasional forays into Fiji and Hong Kong. Perhaps other locations should the current pandemic ever allow it.
So sit back and enjoy, or hate, even be indifferent. That choice is purely up to you.

FAIRVIEW BUSES & JEEPNEYS 8-2-2010

Having already 'endured' a couple of hours shopping in the nearby SM mall, I decided to take a break and go hunting some of the local bus and jeepney action.
An incredibly busy place, there is rarely time for a break between taking your next photo :-)
Below is a selection of images taken over an hour long period.
Many of the older bus models, and at least one of the operators, have since been consigned to Philippine transport history.

#56 - Nova

Nova appears to have become a thing of the past. Not surprising given the imaginative ways of driving that was often noted.

Unusual jeepney design for around Manila, more reminiscent of those in Iloilo (Panay Island).

Thank You

The taxi driver that finally decided to drive us home.
For some reason the cabbies are not much for wanting to earn fares in Manila.
