For over four decades I have been a rail and bus photographer.
However, during this time I have aimed the lens at other subjects, be they different transportation, scenery, buildings and other bollocks.
Given these do not really fit the scope of my other sites, I felt compelled to set up a new site so as to inflict my other photographic garbage upon the world.
While primarily Philippine and Australian content, there will be the occasional forays into Fiji and Hong Kong. Perhaps other locations should the current pandemic ever allow it.
So sit back and enjoy, or hate, even be indifferent. That choice is purely up to you.

BEST EXOTIC MAGNOLIA COTTAGE - BUNDANOON

Best Exotic Magnolia Cottage
Bundanoon, Southern Highlands

A brief look at a place I stayed back in December 2022 as part of our annual SRF/SMUT Christmas party.
As can be seen in the Google Earth image above, it is located very close to the railway line, making it a great spot for the rail-obsessed like myself.
At the time of our stay, photos were possible from the end of the street, the best being of down trains.
The price of the stay was incredibly reasonable given the area and how good the place was. A quick Google will give you further information.

A large amount of effort must go into upkeeping the gardens.

Outside the cabin is a wonderful spot to have a bludge while awaiting the next train :-)

Readers may be aware of a totally inaccurate article about the 'Kid's With Cancer Foundation' that was published in the 'Sydney Morning Herald' without bothering to ascertain the actual facts.
You may also be aware of my greatest fan (who was so eager to discredit me, that they believed the article) doing their level best to try to make it look like I was somehow involved, despite my only putting together a few magazines to help a friend out with his 'Trains 4 Kids' project.
Below is a response from retired director Peter Bodman who sets the record straight.
