SM City North EDSA is one of Metro Manila's largest malls, located in Quezon City along EDSA. Since opening in 1985, it has grown to include a vast array of shops, dining options, and entertainment facilities.
Known for its diverse retail offerings and convenient access to public transport like the MRT-3, it remains a popular destination for shopping, dining, and leisure activities in the metro area.
Not to mention an impressive collection of Tanduay Rhum for consumption after a long dreary day visiting all these outlets.
In 2007, I embarked on a mission to document as many traditional jeepneys as possible, in 2023 I started with SM City North where these classic vehicles were still a prominent feature. Despite the presence of a few of the new 'Fakeneys,' it was a rewarding experience to be able to witness the authenticity of these iconic vehicles.
For those traveling by rail, access to the location is convenient via the MRT3 North Avenue station, and the anticipated extension of LRT1 to the same area promises same. The terminal's location is marked with a red X in the accompanying photos.
Visit soon to witness the abundance of the real 'King Of The Road' before it potentially disappears.
