The Philippine Christmas Festival (Pasko Festival) at Darling Harbour, Sydney, took place last weekend, November 16-17, 2024, at Tumbalong Park. It celebrated Filipino culture and Christmas traditions, featuring vibrant performances, a diverse array of Filipino food, and cultural exhibits. This event, free to the public, marked its fourth year of bringing festive cheer to Sydney.
Highlights included a performance by Filipino superstar Coco Martin (on Sunday) and cast members of FPJ's Batang Quiapo, as part of the TFC Happy Hour segment. Attendees also enjoyed live music, dance showcases, and community festivities that captured the spirit of a traditional Filipino Christmas.
However, we went on the Saturday and managed to avoid the Coco appearance. Purely by luck rather than planning.

The stage saw numerous Filipino artists singing popular songs and other stuff that apparently passes for it in 2024.

Teresa's Siopao makes some pretty awesome food.
Often eat at their little restaurant at G & L in Mount Druitt, and go their stuff at times when I owned a Filipino store in Sydney.

Regulars in the Philippines would be familiar, but distinctly unappealing, name of 'Dirty Icecream'.

The night was setting in, as was a rather bad flu, so I headed off to the Haymarket Light Rail stop.
My leaving the noise for some quiet time here was not a popular choice with the females.

A shop assistant fought off a robber with a labelling gun yesterday.
The police are now looking for a man with a price on his head.
