For over four decades I have been a rail and bus photographer.
However, during this time I have aimed the lens at other subjects, be they different transportation, scenery, buildings and other bollocks.
Given these do not really fit the scope of my other sites, I felt compelled to set up a new site so as to inflict my other photographic garbage upon the world.
While primarily Philippine and Australian content, there will be the occasional forays into Fiji and Hong Kong. Perhaps other locations should the current pandemic ever allow it.
So sit back and enjoy, or hate, even be indifferent. That choice is purely up to you.

2010: PHILIPPINE VIEWS - MIXED COLLECTION

The random photo series now moves into my 2010 visit to the Philippines.
As with 2009, I took a monumental amount of photos during my travels, but many of them just don't fit an extended theme.
So, I thusly have put them together in a multi-part look at the Philippines nearly a decade and a half ago.  Nothing special, but a look back at times past and captured moments.

The abandoned Camalig railway station on the diverted section of line north of Legaspi (Bicol Region).

Cagsawa Ruins north of Legaspi (Bicol Region).
Originally built in 1587, and destroyed by Dutch pirates in 1636.
It would go on to be rebuilt in 1724, only to be destroyed again in 1841  due to an eruption of the famous Mayon Volcano.

This was located a bit north of Sipocot, the exact location unknown. It was a quick stop and shoot, as the building took my eye and the driver in a hurry.

One of those provincial photos I am always eager to get. This was near the structure above.

Because a trip to Bicol makes you very hungry.
I think Red Platter is still a thing in 2024.

The Bongo van broke down at Tagkawayan, giving us a lot of time for photos.

How this guy managed to stay on the railhead is well beyond me. Really quite incredible.

Passengers have just alighted buses on EDSA.
Since this time, all the bus services have moved to the centre lanes and become what is now the EDSA Carousel service.
