For over four decades I have been a rail and bus photographer.
However, during this time I have aimed the lens at other subjects, be they different transportation, scenery, buildings and other bollocks.
Given these do not really fit the scope of my other sites, I felt compelled to set up a new site so as to inflict my other photographic garbage upon the world.
While primarily Philippine and Australian content, there will be the occasional forays into Fiji and Hong Kong. Perhaps other locations should the current pandemic ever allow it.
So sit back and enjoy, or hate, even be indifferent. That choice is purely up to you.

New Filipino Grocery Store Opens in Rosebery – Tara na!

If you've been craving your favorite Pinoy snacks, hard-to-find pantry staples, or just need a friendly place to send a Balikbayan box (or three), we’ve got great news: the newest Filipino grocery store in Sydney has officially opened its doors in Rosebery!

Conveniently located on Gardeners Road—with regular bus service, no less!—this new go-to spot is proudly run by Maria, a familiar face in the Filipino grocery world with years of experience and a knack for making every customer feel right at home. Whether you’re after longganisa, lumpia wrappers, Chippy, SkyFlakes, or that one exact brand of suka your Nanay swears by, Maria’s got you covered.

And it's not just groceries. The store also offers remittance services and Balikbayan freight boxes, so you can shop, send, and snack all in one stop. It's basically your one-stop sari-sari solution, minus the tropical heat.

So come drop by, stock up, say hi to Maria, and support a proudly Filipino-run business that’s bringing a little taste of home to the heart of Rosebery. Kita-kits!
