For over four decades I have been a rail and bus photographer.
However, during this time I have aimed the lens at other subjects, be they different transportation, scenery, buildings and other bollocks.
Given these do not really fit the scope of my other sites, I felt compelled to set up a new site so as to inflict my other photographic garbage upon the world.
While primarily Philippine and Australian content, there will be the occasional forays into Fiji and Hong Kong. Perhaps other locations should the current pandemic ever allow it.
So sit back and enjoy, or hate, even be indifferent. That choice is purely up to you.

Payatas A - Quezon City

Official seal of PayatasPayatas A is another barangay, not far away from the 'Holy Spirit' one I featured in a recent entry.
For most, it seems it's main claim to fame is an old local rubbish dump. For cabbies, it is apparently theft.
In the 21 years I have gone there, I have not seen either.
Actually, I have spent a significant amount of time living there over these years and have found it to be quite a good place and, of course, rich with things to photograph.

According to Wikipedia, the keeper of much misinformation, the name Payatas derives from a word meaning "soil located in the upper part of the 'Tullahan River' that's not good for planting rice".
  I don't doubt it nowadays.

I can't go past a shot of any jeepney.
How much longer do they have?

Payatas A locals.

The Pinay smile.

Have spent many long days looking at that view.

Speaking Of Tanduay, Stay Tuned For A Factory Visit.

Two hats were hanging on a hat rack in the hallway.
One hat said to the other:
"You stay here; I'll go on a head."
